Heritage Hall Theater in Mountain City to Host Steve Sensenig, Jeff Little Trio in September

Heritage Hall is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the area with quality entertainment at affordable pricing. Most evening shows start at 7 p.m. Most tickets are $10 advance and $12 at door, and most youth seats are $5. For tickets or reservations, call 423-727-7444 and leave a message. According to the National Council for the Traditional Arts, “… Jeff Little is an exception – and a remarkable one. His distinctive style, much influenced by the flatpicked guitar tradition, is breathtaking in its speed, precision and clarity”. NPR stated: “Jeff Little is a remarkable musician, steeped in the tradition of his native Blue Ridge, yet also a virtuosic and eclectic innovator.” The Boston Globe also said: “Jeff Little tore the place apart with his wondrously quick and articulate piano style.” Steve Lewis from Todd NC is one of the most respected acoustic musicians in the country. Well known for his flat picking on guitar and his mastery of the five string banjo, he has won many championships for his guitar and banjo playing. Some of the prestigious events include the Walnut Valley Nationals, Merlefest, the Galax Old Time Fiddlers Convention, Renofest and the Wayne Henderson Guitar Competition. Steve is also a two time national champion on the banjo as well.Rounding out the trio is upright bass master Josh Scott from Fleetwood, NC.
