Oct. 24, 2012. If Halloween celebrations and walking zombies aren’t your thing, then Mount Vernon Baptist Church has an event billed as a “Church and Community Halloween Alternative – God’s Big Story Fall Fellowship.”
A promotion for the event states that the fellowship stars “Abraham, David, Jesus and You!” Food, airwalks and games for all ages will be featured.
The event takes place in the gym and first floor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct 31. Event organizers request no scary costumes.
