Founded in 1924 by Joe Hartley Sr., the “Singing” welcomes thousands to enjoy performances by top Southern Gospel groups. Each year, on the fourth Sunday in June, pilgrims come to Grandfather Mountain in Linville, NC from across the Southern Appalachians to celebrate life and God and to meet others that share their commitment.
This year’s speaker is Will Graham, grandson of the famous evangelist and iconic North Carolinian, Billy Graham. Graham has spoken to audiences all over the world, across North America, Australia, India and parts of South America.
Performing this year will be: John’s River Quartet, The Chuckwagon Gang, The Cockman Family, Ernie Couch & Revival, Patricia Smith of Abundance Ministries, Michael Combs, Terry Warren and the Gospel Enforcers.
The “Singing” begins at 8:30 a.m. and the music continues until the middle of the afternoon, with a break at mid-day for Will Graham’s message.
