Grace Academy will host its second annual “Knight of Talent” from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 15 at Alliance Bible Fellowship (1035 Hwy 105). This community talent show will be comprised of students from Grace Academy and the home school community.
Grace Academy home-schoolers and High Country home-schoolers will showcase their talents on stage and in a visual arts presentation. Performers submitted auditions to a panel of judges to showcase their dancing and singing talent, as well as magic shows and much more. Logan Gregory, a local home-schooler and current Grace Academy student, will be the celebrity emcee for this exciting and family fun event.
There will be a special performance by the Carolina Snowbelles, a precision dance troupe promoting teamwork and community in the High Country. Cheryl Cutlip, who was a former Rockette, directs the dance troupe, Carolina Snowbelles.
Concessions will be available for purchase. All proceeds go to Grace Academy, a K-8 Christian, classical, collaborative school located in Boone.
Tickets are $10 per person or $30 per family. Children ages 6-18 are $5, and children ages 5 and under are admitted free. Tickets will be sold at the door the night of the event or available in advance by phone at (828) 773-7830.
