Free Friday night concerts are back in Newland this week on Aug. 5 with the Dave Calvert Collective, a popular local group led by a front man we all know and love.
The show will take place from 6-9 p.m. at the Newland Riverwalk Concert Bandshell, and this favorite group of musicians is sure to draw a big crowd.
The Dave Calvert collective does great R&B, rock and hit pop tunes that everyone knows, and their music will have you up on the dance floor in no time. Folks in the crowd stay on their feet when the DCC is on stage!
Jason “J-Man” DeWitt is back as emcee this week calling the show.
While you’re there, enjoy food vendors, dancing, 50/50 ticket cash drawings, great surprises and tons of fun for the whole family.
This year’s concerts are sponsored by the Greater Newland Association along with Carolina Barbecue, Avery Heating and Air and Williams YMCA.
