Are you a tenant affected by the recent flooding in Boone? Currently facing housing displacement due to condemned and/or damaged property?
Then you ought to come to a session hosted by the Appalachian Student Government Association & local Boone attorneys this coming Saturday, Oct. 28, at 2:15 p.m. in the Watauga County Public Library meeting room.
If you are currently in the process of figuring out your legal rights and options moving forward, Appalachian State SGA is hosting a Free Community Legal Advice Session with local Attorneys in Boone to address your questions. Know your contractual rights, bring your leases, and be informed.
Sam Furgiuele, former Town of Boone and Legal Aid Attorney, will be spearheading the session, along with the help of other attorneys in the area.
In order to receive the best advice, please email your lease (the lease of the property in which you were affected) to: sfurgiuele@samfurgiueleattorney.com
Furthermore, if you are not able to make the meeting and would still like free legal advice, please set up an appointment with the Student Legal Clinic here: http://legalclinic.appstate.edu/
