April 5, 2013. Following some unseasonable wintery weather over the past few days, the weather has decided to cooperate just in time for tonight’s First Friday Art Crawl. It’s 48 degrees and sunny in downtown Boone right now and temperatures are expected to stay in the mid-40s for much of the evening.

As with every first Friday, downtown Boone will be taken over by the monthly First Friday Art Crawl starting about closing time or a little after this evening. Like always, this month’s crawl will feature food, drinks and live music with work and exhibitions from local artists. And as usual, everyone is invited to come out and enjoy some Friday night fun.

There are several businesses along West King and Howard streets and the fun lasts until late in the evening (or even early morning) at many places.
