Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Groovy Nights 10, a fun filled program of great popular recordings performed by talented Blowing Rock citizens. Blowing Rock resident Karen Curlin, who performs in this year’s big show, originally proposed the idea for Groovy Nights.
With eighteen acts total, this year promised to be Groovy Nights’ biggest and best show ever. With two shows under their belts, the 10th year of Groovy Nights has stuck by its promise, giving the audience both new acts and old favorites that everyone loved. If you haven’t made plans to attend, you’re missing out on some wonderfully hilarious lip-sync acts.
The last show for the 10th Anniversary will be August 31st at 7:30 p.m.
Over the years, a number of Blowing Rock citizens have worked tirelessly on stage and behind the scenes to make Groovy Nights a big success that has been generously supported by Blowing Rock businesses and citizens. This year, more than fifty citizens are directly involved in putting on the big show. Groovy Nights sends a great big thanks to all as they keep lip syncing, dancing and acting to provide scholarships for bright young people and vitally important funds for great Blowing Rock causes.
