April 19, 2013. FARM Cafe holds second annual event to mark the anniversary of one year of service to the High Country community. The appreciation event will be held on Saturday, May 4th from noon to 4pm at FARM Cafe, located in the old Boone Drug store on King Street.
The event will feature live music by Brian Swanson and a Boone-based trio, The Dashboard Hula Boys. Beef tenderloin is on the menu and will be generously donated by Earth Fare. “Without the generous support of our community – the many regular and one-time volunteers to the in-kind food donations to our patrons – year one would not have been as successful and fulfilling” says Executive Chef Renee Boughman.
“It is because of our great community that we’ve been able to serve a population of the High Country that is underserved – those of less means.”
FARM Cafe’s appreciation event seeks to give back to the community by providing a fun and engaging afternoon centered around a good and healthy meal.
