Sept. 13, 2013. Ray’s Weather and the National Weather Service are forecasting cooler weather this weekend – and lots of sunshine, which should be beneficial for the leaf lookers in the coming weeks, according to ASU Professor Howie Neufeld, who publishes the Fall Color Report.
Ray’s Weather noted that a front moved in on Thursday night, bringing cooler air from the northwest into the High Country today. High temperatures will be in the high-60s and mid-40s on Friday and Saturday – with temperatures spanning the low-70s and low-50s on Sunday.
“The weekend looks exceptionally nice if you are looking forward to fall weather. This is our fall preview,” Ray’s Weather reported in its forecast discussion for Boone. “Morning temperatures will be in the 40s both Saturday and Sunday. We’ll have lots of sun. Enjoy!“
