F.A.R.M. Cafe Invites Everyone to 4th Annual REAL.GOOD.PARTY! in Blowing Rock

F.A.R.M. Cafe will hold the 4th Annual REAL.GOOD.PARTY! on Friday, March 31 from 7-11 p.m. at the Meadowbrook Inn & Suites in Blowing Rock.   The fun and fabulous fundraising event will feature dance music from Soul Benefactor, silent auction, plinko games, cash bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and more.

Tickets are available at F.A.R.M. Cafe or online at Farmcafe.org for a suggested donation of $30/person or $15/student though is the practice at F.A.R.M. Cafe all are welcome to attend regardless of means.

The annual REAL.GOOD.PARTY! serves as an important fundraiser for F.A.R.M. (Feed All Regardless of Means) Cafe. In previous years $12-14,000 is raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, and the silent auction.   Once again this year local businesses and organizations have stepped forward to sponsor the event. This year sponsors include Friendship Honda, Mast General Store, Carefree Cove Neighborhood, Incredible Toy Company, John Rowell Landscapes, Inc., Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Construction Lending, Inc., 4 Forty Four Construction, and the Meadowbrook Inn and Suites. Sponsorship of the event makes it possible for all funds raised through ticket sales to support the regular efforts of the Cafe to provide REAL.GOOD.FOOD. and REAL.GOOD.COMMUNITY. to everyone regardless of means.

F.A.R.M. Cafe also appreciates the many businesses and individuals who have contributed items for the silent auction and plinko games.   Highlights of this year’s items include trip packages to Atlanta and Asheville; donated services from Daniel Starnes Tree Service and DiSanti, Watson, Capua, Wilson & Garrett; sports/entertainment ticket packages including Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hickory Crawdads and Merlefest; many gift certificates to local restaurants, entertainment venues; and much, much more! Everyone who comes to the event and participates in the auction or plinko should walk away with something wonderful as well as the knowledge that their donation has helped to provide a meal for a person experiencing food insecurity.

F.A.R.M cafe is Boone’s non-profit, pay-what-you-can community cafe that builds a healthy and inclusive community. It provides high quality and delicious meals produced from local sources when available. The cafe serves lunch Monday-Friday 11-2 PM feeding all regardless of means.
