F.A.R.M. Cafe has announced that it will host its annual fundraiser on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Meadowbrook Inn and Suites in Blowing Rock. The downtown Boone restaurant fights hunger and creates community by serving all guests regardless of their financial circumstances.

FARM Cafe Party Poster 2015Last year the event raised $20,000, and the money raised was used to provide over 1,000 meals to hungry families in the High Country. This Friday, March 20, all of the major party must-haves will be returning: dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, an incredible silent auction, and live music by Soul Benefactor. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased either in the restaurant or online at realgoodparty.eventbrite.com.

The folks at F.A.R.M. Cafe are excited to partner with the Meadowbrook, ECRS, and other local businesses to feature products from the community while supporting a great cause. Local businesses are invited to sponsor the event through financial or in-kind donations for the very popular silent auction feature which this year includes multiple vacation packages, sports memorabilia, and fine dining certificates, and local services.

F.A.R.M. Cafe, located at 617 West King St. in Boone, is open Monday through Friday from 11-2 and features a different menu of locally-sourced food each day. Guests may either pay what they can for their meal or volunteer an hour of their time in exchange for a meal.
