Dec. 10, 2013. The holiday season is almost here, and for many no holiday would be complete without Ensemble Stage’s annual presentation of “Christmas in Blowing Rock.”
Now in its fifth installment, “Christmas in Blowing Rock” has delighted High Country residents and visitors for half a decade.
This year, the performances will span over 3 days, Dec. 13, 14 and 15, and promise to bring out the holiday excitement in even the staunchest Scrooge.
“Christmas in Blowing Rock” shows have become a Blowing Rock tradition for many families.
In keeping with the TV specials of the 60s and 70s, the special boasts an assortment of entertainment for all including comedy skits, singing and dancing, a children’s chorus, grandly-dressed ladies and gentlemen and much, much more.
This year will be done in a “greatest hits” style with all of the favorites from the past five productions of “Christmas in Blowing Rock.”
To purchase tickets for any of the shows, visit the box office website here and then call 828-414-1844. All performances are held at the Blowing Rock School Auditorium.
Ensemble Stage was created to bring theater to the High Country community and the need to provide the citizens of the area with affordable access to the performing arts.
Ensemble Stage was conceived out of necessity and an unfaltering love of the performing arts and the unquenchable desire to share that love with the North Carolina High-Country community. In order to provide the surrounding community with affordable access to quality performing arts, Ensemble Stage was created.
