1) Heritage Hall Theatre News from Mountain City

  • Saturday, July 9 at 7 p.m.: As part of the Sunflower Festival, Heritage Hall is presenting Slice of Bluegrass, a really talented and popular local band featuring Quint and Barry Reece, Jack Proffitt, Bob Mink and Mike Treadway. This group is known for their instrumentation, their vocals and their humor. It’s always a great show and a great crowd when “Slice” comes to the Hall, sponsored by Humphrey Masonry and Mountain City Funeral Home.
  • Saturday, July 26 at 7 p.m.: Divas and Tango featuring Amy Marie Young, Amy Walls Woodall, Krista Wells and Federico Eiguchi is coming to Heritage Hall. This will be an amazing show as the two “Amys” are former music teachers in the Johnson County System and veterans of the HH stage. They always “bring it” with professional guests and arrangements. This will be a spectacular night of entertainment you won’t want to miss, sponsored by Maymead, Inc. & FUMC’s Unique Boutique.
  • Saturday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m.: The Phantoms, a local rock band from Damascus, VA who were really popular in this area in the sixties and they still have it going on! As a tribute to the JCHS class of ’64 for their fiftieth reunion, this band will rock the walls at Heritage Hall with classic rock tunes – “a great stroll down memory lane.” Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a “blast from the past” sponsored by Family Prescription Center and Mtn. View Nursery and Landscaping.
