1) Bechy Alghrary-McRee Introduces New Book
Read about Becky’s adventures on her many travels to the Middle Eastern country of Iraq in her new book From the Catawba to the Tigris, and of the year spent living there midst her Iraqi family and her many international neighbors and friends. Hear about walking the ruins of ancient Babylon, living in the capitol city of Baghdad, dancing gypsies at her wedding shower and antics of Farhan, the funny farmer and Rasool, the loyal butler. Through Becky’s time spent in the country of Iraq in the 1970s and 1980s, two families from entirely different cultures came together with a sense of charity, love and understanding.
