3) App State YALL Hosts Bill Frezza

Do you like communicating over all those electronic gizmos that my colleagues and I built for you? Do you know how much it costs to rent a senator or congressman? Libertarian nonprofit Young Americans for Liberty will host Bill Frezza, an extremely accomplished entrepreneur among several other things to address these questions and more. On Nov. 11, at 5 p.m., in Rough Ridge (room 415 in Plemmons Student Union) Frezza will speak on his illustrious career in technology while exploring the connections between risk, reward, failure, freedom and free stuff. The Huffington Post contributor and former Forbes writer began his distinguished career at MIT, majoring in both electrical engineering and biology. Throughout his career, he has been involved as a scientist, engineer, product manager, salesman, consultant, entrepreneur, author, technology evangelist and a venture capitalist. While researching several areas of technology throughout his life, he has managed to aid development of first generation electronic newspapers, home banking, home shopping, cable modems, multi-user video games, wireless LANs, and wireless email. He is also a frequent guest contributor on CNBC, FOX and CBN News. The event will be free to attend. Refreshments will be served and a social will be hosted as Espresso News following the event.
