2016Today early voting extends to five other one-stop sites in Watauga County.

For the first week of early voting, the only one-stop site open was located at the Watauga County Administration Building on King Street. Now, all six locations are open through the remainder of early voting.

In addition to the site on King Street, early voting sites are located on the campus of Appalachian State University, Blowing Rock, Deep Gap, Meat Camp and Cove Creek. See the exact dates and times below.

Early voting ends at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. Election Day is Nov. 8. The polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day

Same-day registration is available during early voting but not on Election Day. Also, you still have time to request an absentee, mail-in ballot.

See exact times and dates for early voting and sample ballots below and see sample ballots here for Avery and Watauga counties. In Avery County, early voting only takes place in the Avery County Board of Elections office.
