March 18, 2013. The Downtown Boone Development Association will hold its annual Spring Retreat at the Jones House Community and Cultural Center on Wednesday, March 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Topics to be discussed include spring and summer promotions such as the Easter Eggstravaganza, Independence Day Parade, First Friday Art Crawls, Concerts on the Lawn and the Doc Watson Celebration in June.
Other topics include the annual budget, review of the association’s goals for 2013-14, an update on the old Appalachian Twin Theatre and much more.
