Crime of the Week: Apple from Ceramic AppalCART Statue Near Town Hall Stolen, Assistance Sought

Aug. 12, 2013. High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

At approximately 2:35 AM, an unknown white male took a ceramic apple displayed in front of Town Hall from an Applcart statue.  The male is accompanied by a white female when he takes the item.  Earlier in the evening, the suspect is seen with the same female and three other females near Town Hall.  Video is attached.   

Anyone who can identify any of the people in the video or provide information on this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-268-6959 / 828-737-0125 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900.  All information will be kept confidential.
