Oct. 4, 2013. On Sept. 30 Boone Police discovered that a convicted felon, Ryan Dean Walsh, 37, of Mountain City, Tenn., had pawned a firearm to a local pawn shop. Boone Police interviewed Mr. Walsh and he was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with one count of felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Mr. Walsh was taken before a Watauga County Magistrate where he was placed under a $10,000 secured bond pending a Nov. 19 court appearance.
