Banner Elk’s Concert in the Park series begins on Thursday, June 25. The town looks forward to these fun outdoor shows each year, starting at 6:30 p.m. in Tate-Evans Park. Concert goers should plan to bring chairs, blankets and picnics or enjoy food from vendors at the park.
This Thursday, Smokey Breeze plays a mixture of jazz, funk and soul. They are a local trio and returning to the Banner Elk stage after a great performance in 2014.
Sponsoring the Smokey Breeze show are two local businesses — Silver Springs Farms and Life Care Center of Banner Elk. Silver Springs Farms located just 1/4 mile from the town of Banner Elk offers beautiful townhomes and home sites and has great office space available. The Life Care Center of Banner Elk is a unique nursing home community and has recently opened a new rehabilitation gym for both inpatient and outpatient rehab.
Banner Elk’s Concerts will run every Thursday evening until September 3. For more information visit www.bannerelk.org or call 828-898-8395.
