By Madison Fisler Lewis

Jan. 9, 2015. On Saturday, Jan. 10, CMT Networks will host a live casting call for a new reality series focusing on small town love. The show will focus on dating in small towns around the county, and is interested in finding singles looking for love who live in a very small town like Boone, Blowing Rock and the surrounding area.

CMT“If you appear to be between the ages of 18 and 32 and you’re a fun, outgoing single person in a very small town, come see us,” read a release from Casting Producer Adrian Wells.

The casting call is open to anyone who lives in a small town and has experience with dating in a small town.

“We are looking for people who live in small towns, we are not so much interested in college students who live on campus, but we are looking for people who are living that small town life and small town love,” said Craig D”Entrone, executive producer of the show.

“We are looking for people to come in and just tell us about themselves, and be ready to talk about their small town life and their small town love life.”

While appointments are available, the casting call is open to anyone who is interested from 12-8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express located at 1943 Blowing Rock Rd. in Boone. The show is looking to cast a total of 4-6 people to participate in the show.

“When people come to the casting call, they don”t need to bring anything,” D”Entrone said. “Just themselves. And they need to be ready to tell us about themselves.”

Although an official filming time has not been set for the show, the ball should be rolling soon.

“It doesn”t have a specific start date yet,” D”Entrone said. “But we expect that filming would start sometime within the next year. We are not sure which towns we will be filming in yet.”
