Civitas: McCrory Leads Cooper by Two Points, Trump & Clinton in a Dead Heat

The latest Civitas poll of North Carolina likely voters finds the two major presidential candidates in a dead heat, while Governor Pat McCrory is up two points over Atty. General Roy Cooper in the race for governor.

Civitas President Francis De Luca said, “As we head into the final two months of the election, it’s about as close as it can get in the races for president and governor.”

The poll surveyed 600 registered, likely voters (30% on cell phones) with a margin of error of +/- 4.00%. This survey was taken September 11-12, 2016.
