Children’s Council Event Raises Over $25,000

BOONE, N.C.- The Children’s Council celebrated their annual Party With A Purpose benefit fundraiser with community friends and supporters at the Inn At Crestwood on Sunday, May 20th. Over $25,000 was raised for programs for young children, their families and their caregivers! “We would like to extend our gratitude to all those who attended, the local businesses that donated items for our auctions, and of course, to our generous sponsors.”, stated Mary Scott, Associate Director.

Guests were treated to some exciting changes to the event this year thanks to the professional assistance of Michael Parker Benefit Auctions. There were games such as the Wine Toss, Heads or Tails and Bling Buckets, along with an amazing array of silent and live auction items donated by over 50 local businesses! It was a lively and interactive event that kept all supporters engaged in learning about the Children’s Council while having a blast!
