Check Out This Video: High Country Press Staff Sings Spring Carol: ‘On The Sixth Day of Spring…’ March 26

By Jesse Wood

March 26, 2013. Perhaps this will put a smile on your face until the temperatures rise through the mountains and the sun shines on the High Country.

Earlier this morning we posted the words to our “Spring Carol,” referring to this late burst of cold weather and snowfall occurring on March 26, the sixth day of spring. Then the High Country Press staff Debbie Carter, Jesse Wood and Ken Ketchie, along with guest singer Donna Sollecito in black, decided to have a little more fun – and made a video singing “On the sixth day of spring…”

Check out the video below. Here are the words if you want to sing along:

On the sixth day of spring Mother Nature brought to me:
Six snow plows,
five inches of snow,
four spinning tires,
three cars in the ditch,
two times the electric bill,
and another … missed … day … of school
