Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute: The Watauga Campus has cancelled day classes for Wednesday, Oct. 31. A decision regarding evening classes will be made by 4 p.m.
Watauga County Schools – On Wednesday, October 31st schools in Watauga County will be closed for students. The snow day program at Hardin Park will open at 7:30 a.m. It will be an optional teacher workday with a two hour delay for staff. Eleven and twelve month employees may report to work or take an Annual Leave Day.
Avery County Schools – Due to very treacherous road conditions this morning and very high winds, the Avery County Schools will be closed for students and staff on Wednesday, October 31. Eleven and twelve month employees may work or take a vacation day.
Two Rivers Community School – Two Rivers Community School will be closed today, Wednesday October 31, due to road conditions and the winter weather advisory. Check your newsletter for the weather make-up days.
Town of Boone offices will open at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31
