BRCA Announces July 20 Community Meeting With NCDOT To Discuss U.S. 321 Project

The Blowing Rock Civic Association announces a community meeting with executives of the North Carolina Department of Transportation to discuss the Highway 321 widening project in Blowing Rock. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the American Legion Building at 333 Wallingford Street in downtown.

NCDOT High Country Transportation Board Member Jim Palermo and NCDOT High Country Division Engineer Mike Pettyjohn will report on project progress, remaining challenges to project completion, projected completion dates, and the impact of changes resulting from the completed project.

This meeting is a follow up meeting to a community meeting last year sponsored by the Blowing Rock Civic Association with NCDOT executives concerning the Highway 321 widening project in Blowing Rock.

The Blowing Rock Civic Association is a community educational nonprofit organization organization devoted to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the Town of Blowing Rock.
