Chosen by incoming Rotary International President John Germ, the theme embraces the organization’s “4-Way Test,” to support truth, fairness, peace and international goodwill.

“[This is a] new Rotary year of opportunity to serve humanity at home and abroad,” Dills said in a recent message.

“As always, cultures around the world are changing – we see glaring evidence every day, everywhere.  Rotary must and is adapting to changing demographics and diverse lifestyles,” he added

“I am a Rotarian because I believe in serving people – to give them an opportunity to have better lives because of our service.”

The Boone Sunrise Rotary Club, along with the Blowing Rock and Boone Noon clubs, are members of District 7670, which covers several counties across Western North Carolina.
