Boone Police Department Announces Road Closures Due To Flooding on Monday

The Boone Police Department has announced at least two road closures due to the rain on Monday afternoon. 

The entrance to Boone Mall at Blowing Rock Road is closed due to flooding and Boone Heights Drive is closed at Hidden Shadows Drive. Both closures were announced from about 1 to 1:30 p.m. Monday. The Boone Police Department urged motorists to use caution in flood-prone areas and offered the phrase: “turn around, don’t drown.”
