Boone Police Chief to Make Special Appearance in Horn in the West on Saturday

Horn in the West is hosting celebrity actors at Daniel Boone Park this summer season. The drama’s 64th season includes two Saturday performances and one Wednesday performance with celebrity actors: Boone Police Chief Dana Crawford on Saturday, July 11, ASU Chancellor Sheri Everts on Wednesday, July 29, and WBTV News Anchorman John Carter on Saturday, August 1.

The celebrity actors will make their debut in key villager roles during Horn in the West and will be available for autographs after the show.

“The Horn in the West cast and crew are thrilled to have the opportunity to perform alongside these guest celebrity actors,” director, Teresa Lee said. “The public is encouraged to come out and help cheer on our special stage guests.”

“Horn in the West” historic outdoor drama employs several local and visiting actors as villagers of a variety of ages in colorful scenes, some funny, some poignant.

As a pre-show to Boone Police Chief Dana Crawford’s appearance on July 11, popular High Country Radio DJ Jeremiah Farmer will be announcing 5:30–7:30 p.m. that evening from Daniel Boone Park and spinning the High Country Radio prize wheel for prize pack giveaways, including Dierks Bentley concert tickets.
