High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:
On Tuesday, April 21, vandalism in the form of graffiti was discovered in the men’s restroom at Junaluska Park in Boone. The graffiti reads “Upon a time.” The same message was also found painted on a garbage can near the basketball court of the park as well.
On Thursday, April 23, 2015 more vandalism was found at Junaluska Park in the form of graffiti. This was painted on an outside wall of the restrooms at the park. The message “Mono” was painted on the wall. (See attached photos of graffiti images.)
An individual was identified from surveillance footage buying paint at Walmart in Boone that matches the paint used at Junaluska Park. The man left Walmart in a white Subaru. Boone Police Investigators would like to identify this man and speak with him.
