Boone Area Chamber, DBDA & Panoramic Hospitality To Host Customer Service Workshop March 21

Offering an excellent customer service experience provides significant, measurable benefits to businesses, organizations, and institutions. Purposefully investing resources that will provide your staff with skillsets to enhance your customers’ experiences not only increases your business, but helps maintain and grow our regional economy.

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Boone Development Association, and Panoramic Hospitality will host A Passion for Service; How to Win Customers and Reduce Lost Sales. The seminar will be offered March 21 at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites. The half-day program is offered in two sessions; 8-11:30 am or1-4:30 p.m.

“We already have good customer service providers here in the High Country,” said Virginia Falck, Downtown Coordinator for the Town of Boone. “What’s exciting about this workshop is the information that is going to be discussed will help elevate our customer service practices to a higher level of excellence. It’s a win for all.”

This workshop will advance your business to a higher level of sales & service excellence. It has received exceptional reviews from over 400 of the Fortune 500 companies. The speaker, Bill Drury, will provide insightful information sure to resonate with our community’s unique customer service needs. This is a great opportunity for you, your staff, and anyone wanting to expand their knowledge about best customer service practices.

“95 percent of tourists base their decision from an online review,” said Susanna Russell, Director of Sales for Hospitality Management. “Because of the growing competition for the tourism dollar in the High Country, every business should want their employees to shine in order to edge out the competition. This in-depth workshop focuses on all areas of customer service, ultimately creating positive reviews for your business.”

Registration is available online at boonechamber.com. Cost is set for $85.00 per attendee or $75.00 per person for businesses that send five or more registrants. Registration costs increase on the day of the event, so make plans to join us soon. Information on a limited number of scholarships is available through the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce.

“This program will provide valuable information for front-line staffs that serve a variety of businesses in our local community,” said David Jackson, President/CEO of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce. “Sometimes the only people that come in contact with customers are your front of house staff. This program will help reinforce the need to make sure those employees represent the very best of a business’ brand, as well as the brand of our area.”
