March 17, 2014. The Blue Ridge Wine and Food Festival, which this year will take place April 10-13, is still taking applications for North Carolina Wine, craft beer and local food vendors to fill the tents at this year’s event.
The festival, held in beautiful downtown Blowing Rock this spring, will bring together more than 60 North Carolina wineries, vineyards and more, which will provide guests with more than 300 different wines to taste and enjoy.
“We will allow any North Carolina winery to come in because we really want to support the North Carolina wineries for sure!” said Billie Rogers, events coordinator at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce.
“Our philosophy is that North Carolina has some excellent wineries. We like to put up all kinds of wines so that guests can taste them all and find their new favorites.”
Interested North Carolina wineries can contact the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce here to get an application.
“This year, we have two big tents and [multiple] satellite tents, and we will take applications until all spots are filled.”
The 9th annual Blue Ridge Wine and Food Festival is one of the most highly-anticipated annual events in the High Country.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce at 828-295-7851 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tickets may also be purchased online here.
This year’s sponsors are the Town of Blowing Rock, Hendrick Northlake Luxury Auto Mall, The Blue Ridge Mountain Club, Blowing Rock Tourism Development Authority and the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce.
