Blowing Rock To Hold Annual ‘State of the Town’ Today For Update on Projects

The Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce’s Community & Government Committee and the Town of Blowing Rock invite all residents and business owners to attend The State of the Town Event Monday, Aug. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Blowing Rock Art & History Museum.

Come learn about exciting current and future projects in Blowing Rock. The Town’s report will be presented by Town representatives including Scott Fogleman, the Town Manager.

Also speaking will be Doug Eller, DOT district engineer for Division 11 who will update the community on the status of the 321 widening project.

We will also hear a report from Rob Hudspeth regarding the new Chestnut Ridge project and the status of the old hospital.

This special event will bring everyone up to date on various projects taking place around Town and Chamber of Commerce events and programs. At the conclusion of the presentations, there will be a question and answer session.
