Blowing Rock Movies in the Park Returns for 2017 Summer Season, Starts June 29

The Blowing Rock Movies in the Park are well-known throughout the High Country. With people of all ages, families with or without children, gathered on the lawn of Memorial Park in downtown Blowing Rock, a family-friendly movie plays on Thursday evenings.

The movies are all PG rated, and each one begins usually at about 8:30 p.m. around dusk. Admission is completely free!

Everyone is free to bring their own snacks and drinks, but remember that alcohol is not allowed in Memorial Park. Also, don’t forget to bring a blanket or a lawn chair to sit down — whatever you are going to be most comfortable with throughout the duration of the movie!
