The Blowing Rock Community Foundations presents the seventh annual Groovy Nights fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 20, Tuesday, Sept 22, and Friday, Sept 25. All three nights take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Blowing Rock Country Club.

In the past, people have dressed in character as The Jackson Five, Barry Manilow and more with a roaring response of dance and laughter from those in attendance. In 2014, nearly 60 people performed.

The Blowing Rock Community Foundation’s mission is to raise and award charitable contributions to nonprofit organizations and scholarships to students in the Blowing Rock community.

This year marks the 27th annual Community Foundation Days, which features fundraiser activities such as a golf and tennis tournaments, game days, night out at a local restaurant and, of course, the fan-favorite “Groovy Nights.”
