The selection was made after a national search and selection process, during which Robert McCammon served as Interim Executive Director for the Museum.

“We are very pleased to announce this appointment.  Lee Carol brings valuable leadership and fundraising experience in a non-profit, community centered, art organization, “reported Chelsea Garrett, President of the BRAHM Board of Trustees.

Giduz’s experience includes 20 years as the Executive Director of the Caldwell Arts Council in Lenoir, North Carolina.   She was an honors graduate in the Public Policy program from Davidson College and has been an active volunteer with many nonprofit organizations in her community. Giduz has served as a board member on the North Carolina Arts Council, Wildacres Leadership Initiative and Western Art Agencies of North Carolina. She was a 2014 recipient of a Sabbatical Award from the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation and is a graduate Fellow of the William C. Friday Fellowship for Human Relations, a two year leadership training program.

“I am honored to be selected to serve as Executive Director of BRAHM,” says Giduz. “I have watched this organization evolve to where it is now and look forward to being part of its growth moving forward”.
