Bistro Roca Gives Back to Local Youth April 25 Proceeds to Benefit Jaquays LGBTQ Youth Alliance

Blowing Rock destination dining spot, Bistro Roca has chosen the Lauren Jaquays LGBTQ Youth Alliance as its Nonprofit-of-the-Month and 20% of all sales on Tuesday April 25th will benefit the nonprofit.

“We are so appreciative that Cobb and Cindy recognize the important work that we are doing and want to give back to our cause,” states executive director Sherri Jaquays. “Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer children are often the most vulnerable and least supported kids in our area.”

Locals and tourists alike are encouraged to enjoy a fantastic lunch or dinner Bistro Roco in support of a worthy cause. About Lauren Jaquays LGBTQ Youth Alliance: Founded in December 2014 as the High Country LGBTQ Youth Alliance, the nonprofit was renamed in 2015 in memory of Blowing Rock teenager Lauren Jaquays who died tragically in an automobile accident.
