Beech Mountain Holding Second Annual Poster Design Contest to Promote Learning to Ski, Snowboard

Jan. 24, 2013. January is learn to ski month and in support of this initiative, Beech Mountain Resort will hold its second annual poster design contest to promote learning to ski and snowboard. This contest is open to all 3rd – 5th grade students nationwide. 

First, second and third prize will be awarded in male and female categories. First prize includes a ski or snowboard set-up and one full day in the Beech Mountain Resort Youth Learning Center. Second and third prize will receive beginner ski packages.

All entries must be original, flat, two-dimensional drawings, paintings or renderings no smaller than 8.5 inches by 11 inches and no larger than 11 inches by 17 inches. No photographs will be permitted. Posters should be derived from the theme: Be Active! Learn to Ski or Snowboard.

Deadline for submissions is Jan. 31, 2013. Posters will be displayed in the View Haus Cafeteria at Beech Mountain Resort and will be judged by Tim Humphries, a professional snowboarder sponsored by FLOW.
