Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce welcomes Soul Benefactor back to the stage in Tate Evans park for a night of fun on July 9! The free concert starts at 6:30 p.m. This week’s concert is sponsored by Carolina Mountain Life Magazine and Appalachian Home Care.
Soul Benefactor is a familiar band to Banner Elk concert goers and this will be their third year playing in the park. They play funk, soul and rock from the 60’s and 70’s. The band formed in 2007 after playing a party and decided it was too much fun to stop after one night. They continue to add new songs to their playlist in hopes to keep the dance floor filled.
Local businesses sponsor the concert series. This week’s sponsors are Carolina Mountain Life Magazine and Appalachian Home Care. CML magazine delivers 4 issues per year reflecting the people, places, culture and more of the High Country. Appalachian Home Care provides high quality in home care to all ages of residents and seasonal visitors in the High County of NC.
The Banner Elk concert series continues every Thursday evening until September 3rd. A variety of food vendors will be in the park. For more information visit www.bannerelk.org or call 828-898-8395.
