Jan. 19, 2015. Banner Elk-based photographer Todd Bush captured another magnificent shot of Comet Lovejoy.
Here’s the caption Bush provided: “Looking south, nearly overhead [on the evening of Jan. 16] from Banner Elk revealed Comet Lovejoy doing a flyby near the Pleiades star cluster, now well above the constellation Orion. It is still faint naked eye, but pretty through binoculars and even better during long exposure photography.”
