Tickets for the 2014-15 Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour at Appalachian State University are sold out.
Staff with Footsloggers and the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts, where the two-day screening will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, said that tickets sold out more than a week ago.
Footsloggers created a waiting list just in case tickets become available. Another option would be to stand outside the Schaefer Center on the nights of the screenings and try to get your hands on tickets that are unwanted or up for sale.
When the tour comes to Boone, it sells out each and every year. The screenings at Appalachian State University are one of – if not – the biggest screenings in North America.
This year, the screenings are sponsored by Bistro Roca, Antlers Bar, Appalachian Ski Mtn., Gideon Ridge Inn and Restaurant, Peabody’s Wine and Beer, CoBo, ReGear, Lost Province Brewing Co., Inn at Crestwood, Blue Ridge Trail Works, and WNCW.
