Feb. 7, 2014. It’s that time of year once again, when the humdrum existence of life is pushed to the wayside and the exploration of exotic lands, adventurous feats and captivating personalities takes place from a seat in the Schaeffer Center for the Performing Arts.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival in Boone, which is among the most exciting festival tour stops and largest screenings in North America because of the local enthusiasm, takes place on Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29.
Tickets recently went on sale at the Schaeffer Center box office and Footsloggers in downtown Boone. Tickets cost $8 for ASU students and $12 for everyone else. The screenings begin at 7:30 p.m.
