The “Horn in the West” script is an adaptation of the original written by playwright Kermit Hunter and first performed in 1952.
This historical story is one of adventure based on actual events during the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution, complete with fire dances, romance, battle scenes and heart-wrenching drama. It details the lives of early American colonists braving the backcountry wilderness to settle in the Blue Ridge Mountains and away from British tyranny.
Tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for children. An on-site Dinner with Dan’l is catered by Dan’l Boone Inn and available for an additional cost before the show on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
