May 7, 2014. Appalachian State University will hold the 2014 Spring Commencement Ceremonies this weekend, May 9-11. The date and time of the graduation ceremonies are based on the graduating student’s college.
The graduate schools will host their graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 9 at 6 p.m. at the Holmes Convocation Center.
Commencement ceremonies held at the Holmes Convocation Center on Saturday, May 10 include The College of Health Sciences at 9 a.m., the Reich College of Education at 12:30 p.m. and the College of Fine and Applied Arts at 4 p.m.
Commencement ceremonies at the Holmes Convocation Center held on Sunday, May 11 include the College of Arts and Sciences at 9 a.m. and the Walker College of Business at 3:30 p.m.
Commencement ceremonies for the Hayes School of Music will be held on Sunday, May 11 at 1 p.m. at the Hayes School of Music.

For those attending the graduation ceremonies this weekend, the office of the registrar suggests parking 45 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure that you get to the commencement on time. Park and ride information, as well as parking maps are available at the registrar’s website here.
As a reminder, bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the Holmes Convocation Center for any special events. Tickets are not required to attend the graduation ceremonies this weekend, and there is no limit to the number of guests per student to attend the ceremony.
