Feb. 18, 2015. Appalachian State University has canceled all classes for Thursday, Feb. 19. Currently, classes today, Feb. 18, will be held as scheduled.
From a release: A decision has been made regarding schedules for Thursday andFriday. The National Weather Service is forecasting dangerous wind chill factors throughout the day Thursday and has issued a wind chill warning for our area.
Consequently, all classes are canceled Thursday, Feb. 19, until 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20. A decision about classes that meet at 10 a.m. and later Feb. 20 will be made by 8 a.m. Friday.
