Boone, NC (July 12, 2017) – The Appalachian Regional Healthcare Foundation is pleased to present the 40th Annual Blowing Rock Fashion Show, which will be held on July 21, 2017 at the Blowing Rock Country Club. The proceeds from this year’s fashion show will support healthcare in the High Country.

The event will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Blowing Rock Fashion Show. The Blowing Rock Fashion Show will include a champagne reception, fashions from local boutiques, a silent auction, raffle, and a luncheon. Each year, Blowing Rock’s finest fashions are modeled by members of the Blowing Rock Community. This year’s fashions will be provided by Almost Rodeo Drive, Celeste’s, Doncaster Outlet, Finley House Couture, J. McLaughlin, J. W. Tweeds, Monkees, and 100 West Union.

When asking Mandy Poplin, the Blowing Rock Fashion Show Chair, about this year’s event, she said, “It’s such a pleasure to be a part of the 40 years of tradition. This fashion show has been a hallmark of our summers! Blowing Rock is a desirable destination and we get to play tourist everyday with some of the best shopping in the entire state. In Blowing Rock one can find everything from designer brands to top of the line shoes and accessories to estate jewelry and one of a kind items from cottage industries. We look forward to showing a sample of what we have to offer.”

The Blowing Rock Fashion Show is lively, exciting, and it supports an excellent cause.  The price for a ticket is $75.00. Mark your calendars and save the date, we believe that this is going to be the best show yet!
