Appalachian Innkeepers Supply, Ashe Memorial Hospital Partner for Hurricane Relief Effort

Appalachian Innkeepers & Janitorial Supply Inc. is organizing a local relief effort to help the hurricane victims in Texas. Serving as the drop-off point, the company is partnering up with Ashe Memorial Hospital, which is delivering the donated items to Texas.

Appalachian Innkeepers & Janitorial Supply Inc. is collecting items until Sept. 8. The items will then be delivered to Ashe Memorial Hospital on Sept. 11 before making their way to the Gulf.

“Please join us in helping Texas to recover and feel the love and support from Watauga County! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us! Thanks to everyone in advance!” Amanda Calloway of Appalachian Innkeepers & Janitorial Supply, Inc. said in announcing the drive.

While donations aren’t limited to the items listed below, here are suggested items to donate:

  • Blankets
  • Clothing
  • Healthcare products
  • Diapers
  • Towels
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Pet food
  • Toiletries
  • Handi-wipes
  • Shoes
  • Socks
