App State Student Stabbed in Parking Lot After Altercation Outside of Local Bar

On Wednesday, May 4, 2017, at approximately 2:28 a.m., Boone police responded to 219 Crossing Way for a fight in the parking lot involving several persons. Shortly after arriving on-scene, officers were notified by Watauga Medical Center that a subject had been brought to the emergency department suffering from a stab wound.

The victim, Teh’Ron Fuller, 21 years-of-age, reported that he had been stabbed in the parking lot of 219 Crossing Way. Mr. Fuller is an Appalachian State University. Mr. Fuller is currently at Wake Forest Baptists Medical Center receiving treatment for his injuries.    

At this time, it appears this incident started as an altercation outside a local bar. Later a fight involving multiple parties occurred in the parking lot of 219 Crossing Way. Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and processing the crime scene. The investigation is continuing.
