‘Animalia Amore’ Featured in February at WCAC

Jan. 14, 2013. Both galleries of the Watauga County Arts Council will feature a special open invitational exhibit entitled “Animalia Amore” this upcoming February. This exhibit is open to any artist who is a current member of the WCAC. Up to three works of art in any medium may be submitted for inclusion in this exhibit.

The WCAC’s gallery committee will review and hang the exhibit and will make final selections from among the works submitted. Works being submitted will need to be brought to the gallery between Friday, Jan. 25 and Monday, Jan. 28 and the opening reception will be held on the evening of Friday, Feb. 1. Works being submitted must be accompanied by the Entry Form and Exhibition Contract (see below).

The galleries of the Watauga County Arts Council are located at 783 W. King St. in a space generously donated by John Winkler, Roger Wright, and Kenneth Wilcox. Gallery exhibitions of the Arts Council are sponsored by Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff.
